Big Foot Found or Big Foot Hoax?

Browsing through Google Trends today, I noticed one of the top searches was 'Big Foot Found'. The photo of the preserved bigfoot is not very impressive, I've seen this type of "big foot" costumes before, the flat rubbery face is a dead give away. The news and photos seem to come from searchforbigfoot.com (if you go there now, you'll get redirected to a completely irrelevant site full of ads). If you do a whois search on that domain name, you'll find that it's owned by a domain squatter ireit.com, a Houston based company that describes itself as "a next-generation Internet media company that acquires, develops and monetizes high-quality domain names and web properties." Sounds like an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) trick to increase traffic and more importantly get gullible people to link in to the site and increase its pagerank.

Multi-talented Troy Beyer began her acting career with a role on the children?s program Sesame Street when she was just four years old. Beyer made a trailer and took it to the Sundance Film Festival, where she handed it out to film executives. The film was quickly picked up by a prominent distributor. She next wrote and directed Love Don?t Cost a Thing (2003) for Warner Brothers, based on the hit 1987 movie Can?t Buy Me Love.

40 Year Old Virgin Shelley Malil Stabs Girlfriend

Shelley Malil, who played Haziz on ‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’, has been arrested for stabbing his girlfriend more than twenty times in San Marcos, CA. According to police, Malil found his girlfriend with another man in her home. In a fit of rage, he grabbed a knife and began attacking her. When her male companion tried to stop him, he was stabbed by Malil as well.

Shelley Malil has appeared in a number films and TV shows, his most memorable appearance was a supporting role as Haziz in 2005’s The 40 Year Old Virgin which starred Steve Carell as Andy Stitzer, a 40 year old man on a quest to get laid. Shelley Matthew Malil is an Indian American who emigrated from India to the United States in 1974. He has also appeared in shows like Scrubs, Reba, NYPD Blue, The West Wing and ER.

Preppie Killer Robert Chambers and the murder of Jennifer Levin

The name Robert Chambers AKA the "Preppie Killer" resurfaced into news headlines today as he and his girlfriend, Shawn Kovell, were arrested in their apartment for possession of cocaine and then selling it to undercover agents during a sting. Robert Chambers was prominently labelled the "Preppie Killer" in 1986 after he murdered his then girlfriend, Jennifer Levin, an 18-year-old graduate of the exclusive Baldwin School. Robert Chambers was labelled a preppie gone bad because he had attended well off schools such as were St. David's, Choate-Rosemary Hall, and Browning and Boston University. However, his drug habits led to a string of petty theft and credit card fraud which got him expelled. Tabloids at the time painted him as an innocent youth who was a victim of Levin’s desire for rough sex which got out of hand.

During the night of Jennifer Levin’s murder, Chamber’s broke up with his other girlfriend, Alex Kapp at Dorrian’s Red Hand bar. Chambers then left the bar with Jennifer and they eventually wound up in Central Park. According to Chamber’s confession later to investigators, he was forcefully raped by Jennifer when she demanded rough sex from him. Chambers claimed Levin tied his hands together with her panties and then played roughly with his gentiles. When Chambers broke free and pushed her off, that was when Jennifer Levin was killed. However, investigation of the Jennifer’s body showed that she had been strangled to death. Her bra and shirt were pushed up to above her shoulders and there were clear claw marks around her neck where she desperately tried to resist her attacker.

When police arrived at Robetr Chamber’s home, he had fresh claw marks on his face which he claimed were from his cat. Needless to say, the police did not believe in his forced rape story. Chamber’s weighed 220 lb, double of Jennifer Levin, and was 6’5” compared to Levin’s 5’4”.
Chambers received 15 years in jail.
